Ministry announces new fuel price readjustment
Addis Ababa, December 9, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - The Ministry of Trade and Industry announced on Tuesday a month long new fuel price readjustment from (Dec. 11 to Jan .9, 2008).
Accordingly, in the capital Addis Ababa, the price of white naphtha is 7.91 Birr per liter, while ethanol-benzene blended fuel is 8.37 Birr a litter.
Similarly, the price of kerosene is 6.43 Birr.
According to the new price readjustment, light black naphtha is 6.09 Birr, and of heavy black naphtha is 5.65 Birr per litter while the price of jet fuel readjusted to 8.60 Birr a litter.
It was recalled that the council of ministers had issued a regulation on its meeting on October 3, 2008 to readjust fuel prices in monthly basis.
