HeHelp to find MISSING Muslim sister in Lackawanna, New Yorkl

Family asking for help in finding woman

LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Lackawanna family is appealing for help in finding a young woman who vanished from a store parking lot.

It's been three days since the Lackawanna woman drove her mom to the Save a Lot grocery store to get some food for a Ramadan, and then she disappeared in the parking lot, leaving her car unlocked and her possessions scattered.

The family of 21-year-old Etidal Abdullah is begging for the publics help to find the college sophomore.
Police said Etidal was shopping with her mom at the grocery store when she came on into the parking lot to get her purse from the car and disappeared.
Her family said her cell phone was found nearly a two-mile walk away from where she was last seen.
The police aren't saying she was kidnapped. In fact, they were ruling out anything including the theory that she may have been trying to avoid marrying her fiancée from Yemen.
Her relatives also defended her father's choice to keep her mother from speaking to investigators.

Whatever the reason for her disappearance, her classmates and teachers at Trocaire College held a vigil for her Monday, praying for her safe return.
Etidal Abdullah is 5 ft. tall, weighs 95-110 lbs., and has brown eyes. There is a $15,000 reward for information in this case, and you can call Lackawanna Police at 822-4900 if you have any information.
