Kulmiye party's official official visit to Washington D.C. and the United States

WASHINGTON. D.C. – His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Siiranyo has arrived at 7;30 local time in Washington D.C.accompanied by his wife Madam Amina Sh. Mohamed Jirde and a Kulmiye delegation. The chairman is expected to stay in the United States for about two weeks. The visit followed an official invitation his Ex. Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Siiranyo has received from the United States government.

He is expected to have meetings with high officials in the United States government, members of the houses of congress, Somaliland friends, some International Non-governmental organizations and the large Somaliland diaspora. The visit has injected tremendous energy and excitement on the North American Kulmiye supporters in particular and Somaliland communities in general. All eyes are focused on this official visit. So far the Rayaale administration is the only entity that has expressed their utmost, concern and fear about Kulmiye's major diplomatic and political push. What Kulmiye has done is a smart political move. The visit came at a time the Obama administrations and other EU countries are warming up to Somaliland. Now it is up to kulmiye and Somaliland's North American diaspora to make use of this great opportunity to the maximum. They need to embark on a relentless push to promote Somaliland and wrestle full diplomatic recognition for Africa's best kept secret. His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Siiranyo's official visit came at the right place, at the right time and for the right purpose.

Kulmiye supporters and the overwhelming majority of Somalilanders would like to see Somaliland's presidential elections take place tomorrow. They are urging the election commission to hold the election as soon as possible, they also demanding from them (the election commission) to set a specific date for the election. Somalilander's will like to see the presidential elections happen within one month. They can nor tolerate more delay in the already delayed elections. Viva Kulmiye! Viva Somaliland! Viva chairman Ahmed Mohamed Siiranyo! The victory and independence will be ours.
