ELECT HONOURABLE SILAANYO AS THE PRESIDENT OF THE NEW CHANGES IN SOMALILAND.
The lesson to be learned in our current political quagmire in Somaliland, as is the case elsewhere in Africa, is that the group that controls political power also determines how the national resources are to be distributed. These are the primary targets of KuLmiye as it is the only party that has a clear strategy to reverse this unholy trend and embark on a viable re-distribution of the national resources. This is the bone of contention!
Those people who are opposing Honourable Ahmed Silaanyo at all cost are those who looted the taxpayers money, and are trying to woe the people whom they made to be unable to stand on their own. Just to fool them. What do they think about 12 years of UDUB domination? Those corrupt people in Somaliland are those now trying to unite and rally the masses for Riyaale’s re-election, and can not even agree on one line. Of course those who are shouting most are the original architectures of most revolting traits in Somaliland. These people made sure that they planted watered and propagated chauvinism, nepotism and cronyism. Now they are busy trying to confess their innocence as well as blame others who are not even remotely connected with these revolting traits.
In addition to his academic credentials coupled with his vast and wide political and public experience, Hon Ahmed Silaanyo is a charismatic leader amply armed to be effective in the administration of justice, the practise of traditional and customary law, fair play and good governance at both the local and international levels. He has the proven ability to influence people towards the achievement of goals. A quite directive, inspiring and influencing gentleman who sets high standards, builds strong sense of teamwork, purpose, group identity, delegates authority and deals as documented effectively with people’s concerns and problems. Above all, he is an all-round leader who is tirelessly directive, transactional, situational, servant with God-given transformational leadership qualities to conceptualize our goals and aspirations for accelerated justice and development in Somaliland.
Now, to see the weakness and bankruptcy of the Government and its supporters, consider the chain of events of the recent past and the debacle of the election debate. It is thus demonstrably clear that this government is leading Somaliland towards an unsustainable crossroad. Besides, if the current trend of continuous violation of the rule of law by the UDUB and its supporters continues – and there is no indication that they won’t – then I am compelled to state that Somaliland is now in a state of political uncertainty and its vulnerability unprecedented. Again, after the drama of the last couple of months, I now hope everyone in Somaliland understands how inadequate, despotic and immature Riyaale’s leadership has been unless you are dumb, deaf and blind.
Well as to Faisal Ali Waraabe, the Migraine boy of Somaliland politics and the leader of the UCID opposition party, he is completely the opposite of Hon Ahmed Silaanyo. He is an individual who lacks mental toughness with a destructive weakness of being a racist, misogynistic, xenophobic politician with negatives that surpass Musse Yalaxow – The Xenophobic warlord of Mogadishu. He has extreme intolerance and obsession towards people who are not his clan as proven by his often irritating, xenophobic and paranoid public statements in his effort to identify the non-Isaaq clans as non-Somalilanders. He aspires to see a radical solution to his imagined and perceived ‘’non-Isaaq’’ threat to his clans. No wonder, his former party’s General Secretary has long abandoned him together with many other decent Somalilanders who believe in an inclusive Somaliland. He will never be accepted by the non-Isaaq clans of Somaliland. He is thus a history and nothing new.
More to the point, Faisal is an individual whose narcissism is so extreme and grandiose that he exists in a kind of splendid isolation in which the creation of the grandiose self takes precedence over cultural religious, legal, moral or interpersonal commitments. Besides, He has surrounded himself with mad people, devoted followers and blind tribal vagabonds who are equally clueless about what it means to be a feeling human being. You see, a mad leader is not alone in the arena, his followers and supporters are the most reliable helps for him as he can’t survive without them.
Tragically, in Somaliland today we will remain in the dark ages as long as some of our people keep choosing or tolerating political psychopaths like Riyaale and Faisal as their leaders. Some of our people ignore the choice of most people for accelerated justice and development for all as advocated by the brilliant politician of Somaliland – the Right Honourable Ahmed Silaanyo who is undoubtedly a decent, honourable and likable gentleman – great at being Mr Silaanyo and very good at being a leader. God bless him as he is God- sent. It is unfortunate that such a noble messenger is subjected to unfounded attacks. It doesn’t surprise me though as no prophet is ever accepted by his own people.
I am urging them to vote for Honourable Silaanyo as UDUB’s evils have reached in Heaven even God has acknowledged it. This is a honest and educated viewpoint for those who really care about Somaliland.
