Somaliland: New Councillors In Borame Elect Mayor And Deputy

Borama- the newly elected councillors in the recently concluded local council election have chosen a new mayor and deputy. In an open vote the new councillors elected Saleban Hasan Hadi as the new Mayor and Mohamed Mohamud Farah "Dhereyste" as his deputy. The newly elected councillors had already been sworn into office by the regional court a few days ago and had been expected to select a new mayor between two candidates for the post.
