Miss Fozia H Aden and Ahmed Sandoon ReleasedBy: Yusuf M HasanHARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – Police have released the three politicians and their supporters who were arrested this morning.
The three leaders M/s Fozia H Aden of NDB, Ahmed Sandoon-Jamhuuriya and Yusuf Sh Madar deputy leader of UDHIS were released around 4pm east Africa time after a number of hours in police custody at the Hargeisa's Central Police Station.
The three political leaders and their supporters were arrested for attempting to participate in demonstrations that police claim are illegal because the organizers had not been issued with a permit.
