Like other Somalilanders, the people of Awdal/Selel/District Gabiley are Devote Somalilanders

(Republic of Somaliland Wa Lama Taabtaan – Saami qaybsi iyo Waxqabad ayaan ka Rabnaa ma Rabno inay Somaliland Dunto!) The people of the above-named regions of Somalilanders are people who are true Somalilanders. They were part of the founding core of Somaliland's second Republic. People who are angered due to their personal ambitions, or even due to pereived grievances, the larger community may have, can not and should represent the free people of "ASG." These people have elected officials, traditional elders and responsible intellecuals. Their faith is the faith of the Republic of Somaliland. They take orders from the above mentioned, and nobody else. Few people who write a paper on the internet can not have any impact on the people of "ASG." To the majority of the people of "ASG"Anything which not the Republic of Somaliland is null and void. The people of this land agree on things and positions on consensus basis. Baseless names such as Awdaland and other names can not stick, can not work and is the work, of few disgruntled Rayaale supporters, and others wityhn other agendas. Any grievance our people may have will be resolved through peaceful means which will be articulated in a civilized, ethical and cool manner. Our people are people of peace. The era of creating baseless conflicts is over. Other than our elected leaders and traditional elders, nobody else represents the people of Awdal. Anybody else who comes with anything different the above-mentioned whether positive or negative will be a personal opinion. People are free for their perosnal ideas.We are urging people who use other peoples' names to refrain from that. If you differ with the position of the majority of the people of "ASG" has taken, you are free for your opinion, but you will never be allowed to hijack the aspirations of the majority.
