OMAHA (AP) - A Somali leader upset by a dispute over prayer at a Grand Island meatpacking plant says the community needs to come together to sort thro

Omaha Somali-American Community Organization leader Mohamed Rage says he has invited civic leaders, Somalians and members of the Hispanic community to talk. He says he hopes such a meeting could occur in the next few weeks.

Plant workers have held repeated protests in recent days. Muslim Somali workers on a second shift want accommodations so they can pray at sunset. Other workers say such accommodations would penalize them and favor Muslim workers.
Rage says operations at the plant appeared to be normal Friday with no sign of protests.
