Somaliland: Hersi Returns After Discussions on Bilateral Relations with Saudi Crown Prince

HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) - The Somaliland Diaspora in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia have donated 2100,000 USD for the Erigavo road.
This was revealed by the Minister of the Residency Hon. Hersi Ali H. Hasan who jetted back into the country yesterday.
The Minister who was away for a fortnight in a basically religious pilgrimage (U'mra) tour was accompanied by Hon. Abdi Abdillahi Hussein Egge (Blacky), MP and the Berbera Petroleum Refinery Mr. Suleiman Said Aw Ali.
He was able to meet with top officials in Holy city of Mecca including the Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Abdi Aziz Al Saud and other top officials in the Kingdom.
Hon Hersi and the Saudi Crown Prince discussed ways to strengthen the existing cordial relations between the two countries.
"We had a very impressive talk on the current state of affairs," Hon Hersi said. "We also discussed way to enhance the existing diplomatic ties and developing more trade ties between our two countries."
Somaliland has a long-established trade and commercial relations with the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia spanning centuries.
The Presidential Minister was during the meeting flanked by Member of Parliament Hon Abdullah Black and Hon Abdullah Musa Somaliland Ambassador to KSA and Kuwait and Hon Ahmed Adan Dagal Safina ,Somaliland special Envoy to the Holy City of Mecca.
