Jigjiga ready to host 8th Nations, Nationalities Day
Jigjiga, 6 December 2013 (WIC) – Preparations have been finalized to successfully host the 8th Nations, Nationalities and People’s Day (NNPD), according to organizing committee of the event .
The 8th Nations, Nationalities and People’s Day will be held in the Somali Regional State on December 8, 2013 under the theme “Our Constitution for Our Renaissance.
In an exclusive interview with WIC today, Committee Coordinator, Ibrahim Ali, said cultural teams from Tigray, Amhara, Oromia, Afar, SNNP and Gambella regional states as well as other parts of the country have already arrived at Jijiga town.
In addition to the warm welcome they expressed to the guests, residents of the Jijiga town have been exerting utmost efforts for the peaceful and successful culmination of the celebration, he said.

Ibrahim said the Somali Regional State along with the residents had been making preparations to successfully host the 8th Nations, Nationalities and People’s Day.
