Somalia: Second Day Hawiya Clan Consultative Meeting Resumes in Mogadishu

Mogadishu — The Hawiya clan consultative conference once again opened on Sunday in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, among the attendants elders, educated and politicians from the clan,who discussed matters concerning the country.

The meeting resumes the second day in the capital was focused more about the Somalis political affairs, including the best way of relocation, the road map and the designing of the constitution and the structure of governance.


The delegates from the Hawiya clan in the consultative meeting set up committees, which are supposed to study the implementation of the articles issued during the conference today.

This consultative conference of the Traditional Hawiya clan elders is against the UN organized meeting for Somalia held in Mogadishu on Saturday.

Asho Omar,the deputy chairwoman of Somali national women said while attending the meeting it should work together and consult the future of Somalia, warning the UN to hold a conference as she put it especial faction of Somalia.

Also the chairman of the civil society of Somalia Muhidin Hassan afrah who attended the assembly of Hawiya elders told spelled out reports about delegates from the civil society taking part the UN sponsored meeting opened yesterday in Mogadishu.

The meeting for Hawiya elders is set to wrap up tomorrow on Monday in Mogadishu
