As the plane bumps down on the tarmac at Aden-Adde International Airport I catch an ominous snippet of conversation between the journalists sitting in front of me.
"And on your left there is the UN plane that Al Shabaab shot down to prevent it from leaving," says Janine Coetzee, an SABC journalist, gesturing vaguely at the stricken aircraft that lies not far from where we've landed."
