Eritrea: Hizbul Islam Denounces UN's Sanction Imposed On Eritrea

Somalia — The Islamist officials of Hizbul Islam have sharply denounced the arm embargo which the United Nations imposed on Eritrean government which allegedly supporting the Islamist fighters in Somalia, officials said on Wednesday.

Sheik Mohamed Mo'alin Ali, the information secretary of Hizbul Islam organization has held press conference in Mogadishu and told reporters that the step that was imposed the sanction on Eritrea was not right one condemning the decision of the United Nation's Security Council who accused Eritrea for supporting and taking that conflicts in the Somali and the Horn of Africa.

The information secretary said that they were very sorry for the sanction against the Eritrean government pointing out that there are more governments intervening Somalia and were not imposed any sanction.

On the other hand, the official had talked more about the Jubba region' differences saying that there was no solution reached on conflicts by a time Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen said yesterday that they took over whole parts of Lower Jubba region in Southern Somalia.

The statement of the information secretary of Hizbul Islam organization comes as the UN Security Council imposed sanctions on Eretrea after it was repeatedly accused for supporting the Islamist forces fighting against the transitional Federal Government led by president Sharif Sheik Ahmed.
