Breaking News: Somaliland Parliament Questions Finance Minister
Hargeisa March, 23 2009 (Somalilandpress) – The Somaliland parliament is currently questioning the finance Minister, Mr. Awil Ali Du'aleh on the proposed government's budget for 2009 which was submitted to the parliament last week for approval.
Since the budget was submitted to the parliament, many showed their concerns and there have been a deep discussion on the budget which is estimated to be around 45 Million Dollars. The current budget is less than that of 2008 by almost 10 Million Dollars.
End of last week, the Director General and the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Finance was sent to the Parliament to replace the Minister who said was engaged by other issues but the MPs rejected and asked the Minister to come in person.
