Mogadishu — Somali Fathers and Mothers asked on Sunday for the release of hundreds of their children, who are being held in various jails in Tanzania for more than eight months.
The parents raised concern over the terrible living conditions of their teenagers in the prisons of Tanzania and called for the transitional federal government of Somalia and international community to help them for the releasing of their children.
Madino Mohamed Jim'ale, and Dahabo A/llahi Asad, screaming and crying mothers whose younger boys held in the prisoners of Tanzania have kindly requested for the Somali government and the united nations to turn their attention and eyes on the Somali citizens in the jails of Tanzania, who are reportedly facing hurdles day to day to be released soon and back to their country.
More than 180 Somali young boys are still held in custody almost a year with no court hearing by the Tanzanian government accusing them to have entered its country illegally.
