Somalia: Over 50 Citizens Face Hurdles in Angola Jails
Luanda — More than 50 young Somalis are facing hurdles in jails locate inside Angola.
These jailed young Somalis have captured at Angola border with Zambia while trying to cross the border.
Somalis in Angola detention centers were accused to have entered the country illegally and without permission.
Dahir Ugas Mirre, a spokesperson of Somali community in Angola, told Shabelle Media Network some of those jailed persons have been in the custody for more two years.
Mirre said those youngsters face torture by Angolan jail guards. He noted they weren't put on trial.
the spokesman has asked the transitional federal government of Somalia to act quickly to help release those jailed Somali young people.
