Somaliland: USWO NGO holds Training on Promotion of IDPS' Sanitation and Water
Hargeisa (Somalilandpress) – USWO, which is Local Non Government Organization based in Somaliland has held training on promotion of IDPS' sanitation and water in Hargeisa today.
The participants of the training were 45 members from Daami and Sheekh Nuur sub districts which are the areas with the lowest sanitation in Hargeisa.
The chairman of the organization Mr. Abdilahi Hassan Digaale has told Somalilandpress that they are committed to develop the sanitation of the areas that the poor people live throughout Somaliland. He added that they are constructing 230 homes for the IDPS' and poor people in Somaliland.
Finally, he told that they are going to make 100 public toilets in Burao city which is funded by UNICEF.
Miss Fadumo Ahmed Hirsi, the head of the Sanitation department of UNICEF, spoke in the closing ceremony of the training and told that USWO organization is doing a good job in Somaliland.
She thanked them for their role in promoting the sanitation of the IDPS and the poor people in Somaliland and how they defend the rights of the minority people in Somaliland.
