Nigeria will experience great transformation if those in government put God first in running the affairs of the country, the General Overseer of Living End-Time Ministry, Pastor Isaac Richman Owoicholohi said yesterday.

The clergy in a sermon delivered at the Church headquarters in Abuja, said by the time the nation's leadership turns to God, the country's problems will be healed and positive developments will take place as God will turn everything around. He said the country has experienced untold hardship as a result of the recklessness of those in government, adding that except, "our leaders turned to God and Nigerians embraced the virtues of the Almighty, the problems bedevilling the country will remain un-abated".

Owoicholohi urged Nigerians, especially clergies not to relent in praying for the quick recovery of President Umaru Musa Yar'adua, who is presently receiving medical attention in Saudi Arabia, adding that the, "word of God enjoins us to pray for our leaders".

He lamented that Nigerians are still suffering in the face of the abundant natural and human resources that the country is blessed with and stressed that except the Lord leads the country, the efforts of the leaders will yield nothing.

"The country needs divine favour which comes from God Almighty and of which human labour only cannot bring down the blessings, growth and transformation that divine favour can bring to the country and its citizenry," he stated
