Who are ERIS? The company entrusted to rectifying errors on Somaliland electoral register.......

ERIS is a company limited by guarantee founded in 1992 as an autonomous division of the Electoral Reform Society(ERS). Founded in 1884, the Electoral Reform Society is the world's oldest institution dedicated to the study of electoral systems. It advises on electoral issues, conducts voter education programmes, campaigns for electoral reform and is the umbrella body for several offshoot election-related initiatives.

Also under the ERS umbrella, Electoral Reform Services is the world's leading independent supplier of ballots and election services from registration through to announcing results. It has consultative status at the UN, substantial experience in e-voting, telephone and SMS voting, and helps over 1,000 organisations hold ballots each year.

Also within ERS, the McDougall Trust is an independent charity whose principal objective is to advance the knowledge of elections, voting systems and representative democracy through extensive research. The Trust publishes a periodical entitled Representation: The Journal of Representative Democracy and also maintains and develops the Lakeman Library for Electoral Studies.
