Somali organization hails Ugandan troops

April 6, 2009 Kampala (Uganda) -The Coalition for Grassroots Women Organization, a Somali NGO, on Monday said there is need for more troops to be sent to Mogadishu to enable the Somalis go through the transition period. A representative of the NGO, Omar Mohammed Dahabo hailed the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces for their peacekeeping mission role in the country. Dahabo told the press in Kampala that the Uganda troops have been instrumental in keeping law in Mogadishu. Last month, Uganda sent more troops to Somalia to beef up the African Union peacekeeping force in the country
